The digital rearview mirror is a rear-vision system that uses a rearward-facing camera to capture video that is linked to an integrated mirror display, providing the driver with an unobstructed, wide-view image behind the vehicle. All controls are discretely integrated into the rearview mirror, which has two modes. In mirror mode, the product functions as a standard auto-dimming rearview mirror. With the simple switch of a lever, the mirror enters camera mode, and a clear, bright video image appears through the mirror’s reflective surface, providing a wide, unobstructed rearward view.
